    Arsenic in groundwater is still misunderstood by many.  This presentation will answer some of the most basic and important questions about Arsenic: Where is it found?  Why is it there?   Why did the MCL Change?  Is there still a concern since the MCL change?  What are the health concerns?  Why should you care?  What can and should you do about it?

    Wells constructed in Minnesota conform to one of the country’s best well codes.  Properly constructed wells have helped provide millions of Minnesotans with a safe and reliable source of water.  This presentation will look at how different types of wells are constructed, who uses groundwater and how much, and what well owners can look for to keep their water supply in the best possible condition.

    Speaker: David Schulenberg, QAS – Minnesota Water Well Association
    What is the role of the State Association when dealing with PFAS Contamination, and the importance of the Role of the Contractor when working with the Private Well Owner?  This presentation will discuss the importance of this relationship and how it pertains to not only Private Well Owners, but city and state leaders as well.
  • Noon                     Treatment of Arsenic, PFAS & other Contaminants in Groundwater
    Speaker: Mark Selvig – Regional Sales Manager - Water-Right, Inc.
    What are the options for Private Well Owners and others for treating known, and emerging contaminates?  This presentation will focus on current treatment options and emerging technology.
Well owners, community leaders, and well contractors are encouraged to attend this NO cost event.
